< Adding a New Charge Condition < How do I add a charge condition based on a Time Period?

 

When you add charge conditions they will be applied in the order in which they are listed under the Charge Conditions sub menu for that service item.

 

The system applies these conditions in the order in which they are listed and stops as soon as a condition is met. It is important to ensure your conditions are listed in the correct order so that you achieve the desired result. As a general rule, the more arguments that you have in your charge condition then the higher up the list the condition should be.

ON DESKTOP:

Navigate to Admin > Services > Service Items > Charge Conditions

How do I add a charge condition based on a Time Period?
  • Click the service item you wish to edit.

  • Click "Charge Conditions" from the menu.

  • Then click "Add a New Condition".

STEP 3​​

  • Select the statement "the time period is".
     

  • Select the appropriate time period from the drop down menu.

    NOTE: These periods relate to the settings for your Schedule in Column View or Compact View. If you want to change how these are named or the times that they represent, you will need to go to Admin > Settings > Schedule Settings > Column View Headings from the sub menu.
     

  • Add the correct charge for that time period where it says "Then charge". Do not add a currency symbol such as $ or £.
     

  • Click "Add".
