Worked Example: How to Add a Compensation Condition that applies to Schedule Periods
A pet sitting company pays its sitters $7.50 for a 20 minute dog walk in the morning or at midday but $7.00 for the same dog walk in the afternoon.
In this example it's useful to avoid creating a new service for an afternoon dog walk. This will clutter up your service list and make the system less easy to use. Instead we set up a compensation condition and apply it to the standard 20 minute dog walk service so that a lower rate is automatically calculated when the service is scheduled in the afternoon.
