Worked Example: How to Add a Charge Condition that applies to the Days of the Week

A pet sitting company charges $12.00 for a 20 minute dog walk Monday to Friday but charges $15.00 for the same service at the weekends.

In this example its useful to avoid creating a new service for weekend 20 minute dog walks. This will clutter up your service list and make the system less easy to use. Instead we set up a charge condition and apply it to the standard 20 minute dog walking service so that a higher rate is automatically calculated when the service is scheduled at the weekend.

ON DESKTOP:

STEP 6

This has created a rule which you can now see on the Charge Conditions list for this service item. This rule will automatically charge $15.00 for any 20 minute dog walk that you schedule on a Saturday or a Sunday.
